Some years later when Bren and I had moved to SF and were working at the Fillmore, Thrasher's main photo man Mofo wanted to attend a Cramps gig on Halloween, and also wanted permission to take pics for the mag...

( Thrasher is based in SF )

I managed to talk the house manager Richard into it, so Mofo had two tickets waiting at the door.

He showed up with pro freestyle skater Rodney Mullen, and they had a blast...

After the show we got to sit around and bullshit over drinks, and Mullen signed my Cramps Fillmore poster.

Mofo sure was slammin' down drinks !

Anyway, a few weeks later, I got a box delivered to me out of the blue at the Fillmore from Thrasher mag...

It was full of Thrasher t-shirts and stickers along with a thank you note from Mofo...

WOOOHOO !!!


I barely remember the short article and pics that were printed regarding that night, and I don't remember if I was mentioned at all...

Didn't matter to me at all 'cause I got Mullen's autograph AND the Thrasher loot !
